Did anyone notice this weeks hint towards...

Rose returning, for an episode at least. One of the soothsayers saying "She is returning". I wonder if there is a going to be a hint each week, after the shot of Rose fading in episode one, as well as the Doctor telling Donna that 'she is still lost', or words along those lines.

Well we're already aware of Rose's presence in the last 3 episodes seeing all the previous "modern" assistants are together to save The Doctor, and then who knows for after that... what with specials etc...

My favourite line was "Oh you're Celtic....there's lovely."

"TX Maximus" was another good one.

Although Donna came very close to "Nan" when she was offered for sacrifice by that cult. Can't see her saying "what a f*cking liberty" somehow though.

Liked the "oh he's 'armless" bit too! Good episode I think, definitely better than last week's.

Having had the dubious honour of doing Latin at school, I was very amused to see that the family at the centre of the latest episode were named after the family in the Cambridge Latin Course textbooks.

Caecilius was a real person from Pompeii, but Metella and Quintus were invented in a school book.

Nice in-joke! Laughing

Indeed, but they didn't follow it through by killing off Caecilius- the rest of the family survived in the aforementioned Cambridge texts.

I guess the writer had nodded off at the back of the class, rather like I did most of the time.

It was Davies' idea to use the CLC names.
