This is the thing, Doctor WHo is a guaranteed rating winner & is unique (in a sense) on British TV at present, whereas we've had loads of series like I'd Do Anything over the past 12 months, the BBC really have got their priorities the wrong way roudn here Mad

That is an understatement and when the ratings come in it'll be a big disappointment.

...and the press will jump on it straight away, I can see the Daily Mail now (SHOCKING COST OF POORLY WATCHED DOCTOR) Wink

I imagine if it doesn't do well in that slot the two shows will be switched. From what I understand it's all to do with the live voting & the times printed on the tickets. Hopefully the future editions of IDA's tickets haven't been printed yet so that the time switch can be implemented

I quite like this trailer I saw today. It looks quite dark and sinister, a good omen I think!

Forgive me if I'm wrong here, but didn't all the Ood die when they went into a black hole in series 2?

Ooh yes, that is a good one.

The Ood we saw previously were only a select number of their race/

They have a cinematic feel to them don't they?

The Ood in Series 2 were a "basic slave race" & were good but turned evil. From what I can see from these trailers they're evil straight off.

The Unicorn & The Wasp is probably going to freak me out. I hate wasps alot & seeing that big one in one of the other trailer made me jump Shocked Laughing

Well they were corrupted by "The Devil." - just like one of the crew was.

I read (Doctor Who Magazine me thinks) that these Ood are from their races past, thus 'Planet of the Ood' is set before the events of 'The Impossible Planet'/'The Satan Pit.' So that particular story shouldn’t really come into account on the whole.

Could be wrong though.

www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho is down at the moment, it was due to be relaunched today, so maybe this is a sign of changes happening.
