From what I've read, but cannot remember where (I will try to find out and edited it in later) but Rose, Donna and Martha have a Doctorless episode together (a bit like Blink in last series and Peter Kay in series before that). But also ALL New Doctor Who assistants (i.e. ones above and Jack and Sarah Jane) will be in the final episode of the season - with also a rumour that The Master will also be in the episode!!!

Daily Star reported the last part, highly unlikely Wink Laughing

That had better happen! It sounds really cool.

It's stupid, bringing back Rose like that. Get over her. Why do they need her back? They didn't do that in the old series. Rose was annoying. No point bringing back an ANNOYING character now, is there?

I can think of at least one "assistant" with a re-occuring role - 4 words...

Brigadier Alastair Gordon Lethbridge-stewart.

Also look at the 5 doctors, the 2 doctors, the 3 doctors all with past assistants as well.

It did happen!!!

He, strictly speaking, was not a companion, he worked for UNIT. It was important to have them around for the earth bound stories.

Have to agree, Rose's time has come & gone, Sarah Jane & K-9 on the other hand are welcome back for one offs, two excellent companions, which shows due to their longetivity in the series.

K-9 should definately be back in the series full time

My mate has recently been producing a DVD release of older episodes and had K9 in his house for a time.

Which was nice.

Ah, I wonder if that's the same person who posted a picture of K-9 having a pint on the outpost gallifrey forums Laughing

Care to shed a light as to what episodes he was working on or is it all hush-hush Wink

He's not very into the interweb so I doubt it. Perhaps it was a colleague.

He did say what episodes but I don't recall, although he did give me a "white label" copy of Marcus Brigstocke's new DVD for Christmas.

Which was nice.
