But a full Doctor Who videogame based on the TV show would be better on a powerful, superior console like the XBox360

A game featuring storylines from each episode of series 1-3, that could be including xmas episodes aswell. And it should be a game for Nintendo Wii, PS3, PSP & Xbox360. I think a lot of people might buy it if it ever became real because it's a big hit on TV. I think the age should be 12+ (definitly not less, like 7+ )

The Nintendo Wiiiiiiii version would have to be technically cut down in comparison with versions for the XBox360 and PS3,
since it's so underpowered against the superior offerings from Microsoft and Sony ... and my preference here is Microsoft.

But which console would The Doctor go for? The XBox360 or the PS3?

Arrow There's only one way to find out . . . FIIIIIIIIGHT!!!

Since the Wii is the young kids console, it should really be on that. DS is ok actually, but PS2, why!?

I don't own one, but I believe that the PS3 includes an emulator allowing backwards compatibility with the PS2 and the first PlayStation.

But I agree that a Top Trumps game is a waste of space. Why not have a 'fly through time' game or something along those lines?

Nice to hear that someone else thinks the Howell version was the best of the classic series Very Happy

I'm also glad to hear people sticking up for the 1980s theme music. Smile I really do hate the "anything that strays too far from the Delia Derbyshire version is crap" brigade.

As I was only born in 1980 (November), the 80s versions of the theme tune are the only ones I knew, first time around. So, naturally, they are the ones that seem "right" to me. I like all three versions.

I have a particular soft-spot for the short-lived Dominic Glynn version, but maybe that's because it's the first version I clearly remember (I don't really remember telly at all from before the age of about 5 or 6). I don't know why it seems to be so derided. I like its slightly "sinister" undertones - very apt for the moody 6th Dr.

I like both the Trial version,AND the McCoy version!

I loved Glynns version. Wasn't that keen on McCulloch's version.

PS2 compatbility has been phased out on new models of the PS3.

The US 60/20Gb models had hardware PS2 compatibility (two PS2 chips on-board).

The European 60Gb and the US 80Gb models had a combination of software and hardware compatibility (one PS2 chip on-board, the other emulated)

The US and European 40Gb models have NO PS2 compatibility. (These models have only 2 USB sockets and no SACD playback either, but do have built in Wifi, though no memory card slots)

I'd just like to add that those who are unsure to watch this, watch it, you won't be dissapointed. I've watched the complete run of Tom Baker's stories (Series 12-18, Robot-Logopolis) and with the exception of Underworld & Horns Of Nimon it is an excellent run of stories (especially Series 12-14, 16 & 18.) The Sun = B*ll*cks, David Tennant himself has said he would like to continue after 2009, however nothing has been set in stone.

The movie idea has been bouncing around for a while but I'd rather it would be The Time War with Paul McGann as the Doctor
