We got some *cough great views of Miss Minogue But in terms of story I didn't think it was very good, I found it really predictable. Not a patch on last year’s.
Really? I'm thinking the Donna character is looking terrible - I knew it would be similar to last time, but she's still very Lauren, and thought she might have calmed down a bit.
And for all those interested, anyone thinking of requesting the new theme and credits... wont have to, thanks to moi haha!
Head over to requests for both the theme and a clean copy of the credits thanks to the version on BBC's iPlayer.
Merry Christmas peeps!
Good stuff! The theme tune is good and will grow on me - but I reckon they ought to change the title sequence also if they are changing the main music. That way, the new music will work much better!
Well it was just weird. And if Astrid is the physical manifestation of the Tardis, then
wouldn't the Tardis turn into energy particles aswell? And I highly doubt the tabloids made it up.Why else would her name be an anagram of Tardis?
Did anyone else notice that
Doctor Who
seems to have been focussing a lot on more 'religious' themes lately? i.e. the Doctor riding on a 'wave of belief' in the climax of S3, the sacrifices of the three who died in last night's episode (including Astrid), and various other themes throughout S2 and S3.
I don't mean that in a bad way - I've just noticed it a lot more lately.
Titanic - the awful early 80's version
Towering Inferno
the original Poseidon Adventure
The Black Hole
Airport movies
and with regards to the religious element - that has always been there with Doctor Who. Good vs Evil. The White Guardian vs the Black Guardian. The universe cannot exist without the two!!!!!! PLus it's all based on a game of chess!!!!
Edited bit....
I hate the new music (just watched the episode for the 3rd time) and why did they vastly speed up the end credits??? - at first I thought it was because it had overran by 5 minutes!!!!!! - Just awful
