It'd be nice - often, titles won't work with multiple theme tunes. It'll look weird.

Funky new theme tune. I like!

horrible new theme tune it sounds to me like it's trying too hard to be exciting.

do there have to kill nearly everyone off?

New credits style.. and they go a lot faster.

Good episode, poor presentation.I don't like the new Opening and closing credits. I don't suppose there is anything Joe Public can do to get the origianl reinstated is there?
I thought the TARDIS was going to end up on Donna's doorstep or somthing. It'll be interesting to see how she gets back in the frame, also BBC NI showed a Torchwood teaser, did everyone else get it?

From a presentation point of view. Awful new theme tune, absolutely DREADFUL end credits. Worse than American end credits. Were they sped up at the last minute or something?

I quite like the theme tune, its an improvement on the rather tiredsome 2005 mix.

Gripping Christmas episode, as always!

It sounds to me like the theme used tonight was how the 2005 theme was originally intended to sound - however, it may have been left unfinished (if you listen to the trailer for Rose , it used a mildly different version of the theme tune with a different bassline) so the Derbyshire bassline was thrown in to compensate.

That said, the theme is wonderful and goes perfectly with the titles, and would be even better if the announcer didn't blab over the obviously-sped-up credits.

And for all those interested, anyone thinking of requesting the new theme and credits... wont have to, thanks to moi haha!

May I suggest for the closing titles what they do is start the cast credits scrolling along the bottom of the screen during the Next Episode segment and then have the rest of the cast creditied in the same way (and speed) as The Infinite Quest.
