Just noticed there's a Doctor Who musical concert thingy on BBC 2W, about halfway through at the mo - looks, err, interesting...!

I really enjoyed it tonight. I also like Primeval now. Just glad the 2 don't go head to head on a saturday night. Dr.Who is one of those programmes that can get away with changing the main characters with different actors. A bit like corries Tracy Barlow. It's the only soap that can get away with introducing a new actress into the role of miss Barlow.
Primeval would have been a perfect Saturday night show on BBC1 to keep us going until Doctor Who came back. Torchwood was a real let down and Robin Hood was not good!

What a great opener, and a great introduction to Martha.
Effects as great as always, one thing that I'm always impressed by is the musical score, they always seem to be fantastic, thats something that i think Primeval was lacking in, though I think it was more the weak theme to primeval, especially compared to the doctor's.

Freema seems to have fitted in very well, and David Tennant is still as good as ever.

Noticed the reference to Adeola being Martha's cousin to try to explain the similarity!

Laughing The name Mr Stoker was quite clever; a reference I'm sure to that other blood-sucking creature Dracula... created by one Bram Stoker Very Happy

Yes but that's the sort of show the BBC should have made instead of Robin Hood. Hopefully Merlin won't be a load of rubbish. I'm getting a bit worried about Peter Fincham's programme choices and mad scheduling decisions as controller of BBC1.

Someone explained it on the Outpost Gallifrey website. It's a reference to the commercial for Zovirax where a biker shows up all dressed in black.

This is it if you never saw the commercial the joke will mean nothing to you. I saw the commercials and even I didn't get the joke until I was reminded of the commercial. Too many popular references.
