Looks like you'll be getting an extended introduction to the Christmas Doctor Who tomorrow.

BBC One Scotland has just played out what looked like a three minute trailer for tomorrow's episode. But it ended up with the tagline: "BBC One Scotland - now".

So I presume that's going to be on before the episode then, and they've played the wrong one.

Yes, they must have played the wrong one... however, I'm thinking the NOW trail would be for use on BBC 2 in the 6:50pm junction.

I was trying to think of a reason why this would have been created. My first thoughts were of the time before the final episode of series one when a long trail was played just before the programme started on BBC1.

However the BBC2 junction makes a lot more sense. Although why a Scottish version would have been created when they take network continuity 99% of the time I'm not sure.
