Looks like the doctor will have 4 companions

Quote:
Meanwhile, on the real Doctor Who, lucky Time Lord David Tennant will have FOUR assistants run to his rescue after he is badly injured in an explosion. Donna (Catherine Tate), Martha (Freema Agyeman), Rose (Billie Piper) and Sara Jane Smith (Elisabeth Sladen) will all feature in the finale of the latest series next year.

Is Sarah Jane Smith returning?
And is Captain Jack going to be back for series 4? I've heard he is but i'm not sure. It'll be 5 companions if he returns

Sorry if this has been mentioned, but the doctor who special, time crash for children in need was the most watched program on CiN. For actual ratings see here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/news/cult/news/drwho/2007/11/19/50853.shtml

Strictly speaking (as there is only 1 doctor, albeit 10 incarnations) the most companions he's ever had on one adventure has been 11:

Susan, the Brigadier, Sarah Jane, Romana, Tegan, Turlough, Liz, Mike Yates, Jamie and Zoe.

I refer of course to the Five Doctors. Laughing

And next week's Radio Times says there will be a trailer before Strictly Come Dancing this coming Saturday. Speculation suggests that it will be the trailer shown in cinemas right now.
