Still not to sure on Perpiguilliam Brown!!!!!!!
Anyway inbetween what stories would they be coming from!!! Remember the last time we saw Peri was with the 6th Doctor and she left him for King Kronos during Trial of a Timelord (or did she - the Valeyard could have made that up as well on the vortex!!!!)

True but both could be dragged out of the time vortex from an adventure between Planet Of Fire & Caves Of Androzani, look at the Big Finish range, there's loads with the 5th Doctor & Peri

The fifth Doctor and Peri is the obvious combination to go for.
Tegan was incredibly annoying- complaining all the time- and should have gone after just a few stories- she was a blight on the Davison 'era'.
Peter Davison could/should lose the weight he's put on for Spamalot and Nicola Bryant (Peri) is back working full-time- with appearances on stage and TV- after a long period off due to a back injury.

I think 5th Doctor, Peri, Turlough would have worked well but it wasn't to be

There was an interesting bit in regards to the number of episodes...
Quote:
The new series begins in March and will run for 13 episodes. There will be three special editions in 2009 before the show takes a break until 2010.
