here it is then, launch night, i wondor how many viewers they will get

It looks like the whole family's going to be in episode 1.
Hopefully we won't see them again till at least the finale.

Do you think there'll be a special ident?

We live in hope... could see the TARDIS zooming through the (circular) vortex...

I presume BBC1 Wales will do their usual post-ident: "We made this, we're great" announcement. Wouldn't assume we're going to get anything different though ident-wise.

Incidentally, do they do this before Life on Mars? I think that's technically a BBC Wales production.

No special ident - was just a normal one (Bikes)....

Same on Wales - with no special announcement.

Thought that went well - a lot of negative comments elsewhere but that's to be expected as people didn't want change. I'm sure everyone will get used to it.

Black marks to BBC continuity though - the theme tune was talked the way through on BBC1 Scotland, and I presume elsewhere too.

I really enjoyed it tonight. I also like Primeval now. Just glad the 2 don't go head to head on a saturday night. Dr.Who is one of those programmes that can get away with changing the main characters with different actors. A bit like corries Tracy Barlow. It's the only soap that can get away with introducing a new actress into the role of miss Barlow.

Anyone else get the "Aliens from the Planet Zovirax" joke?

absolutly loved the premire of the thrid series...

It's a shame that BBC did not create any special ident, nor did the special announcement at all! (I was watching from hotel in Cardiff, business trip thing, and I thought that BBC One Wales would do an exclusive announcement of the return of Doctor Who, what a shame!)

but the programme itself, I think I'll get used to the new companion after all!

PS: Do anyone recorded to new title sequence now with new companion? If possible, please post in Flash, along with the biker's ident? I want to explain to my co-workers why I am pissed when I return to London on Monday...
