Are you insulting my intelligence?
Oh course not, you haven't any!

did you know that it's physically impossible for a make to have no balls, and for a female to have no vagina? Yes, what intelligence

Xmas Special part of this season or next?
JO
Technically, each Christmas special is part of the following series, as it is recorded with those episodes (usually in a recording block with the first couple of episodes of the following series).
Oops
forgot that they are blocked in with the start of each series as opposed to the previous one.

Are you insulting my intelligence?Oh,and it wouldn't be at a random stage.Next year it's 45 years.
No, I'm not insulting your intelligence.
I'm just genuinely a bit disturbed about all the references to Tom Baker's death.
Fair point about next year being something of an Anniversary year (albeit not a multiple of 10), but I still think that the best way to re-visit old Doctors is to watch the actual "Classic Who" episodes, rather than bringing them back as "guest stars" in a new episode.
"New Who" finds more subtle ways of giving a nod to old Doctors (e.g. the 10th Dr saying something similar to "I've reversed the polarity of the neutron flow" in The Lazarus Experiment - a nod to the 3rd Dr, of course). I think that kind of thing is more workable than literally bringing the old Drs back.
The prospect of a new Multi-Dr story may sound good in theory, but there are far too many reasons why it would be inadvisible in practice. Sadly, therefore, it's probably best left as a fan "wish-list" fantasy.
EDIT: A Timelash style situation, whereby the current Dr's destination was supposedly visited by an earlier incarnation in an "undisclosed adventure", might be a nice idea.

Doing such a story at some random stage, just for the sake of "getting in there quickly before Tom Baker dies" is ridiculous. What the heck goes on inside your head, saturdaymorning?

No.It's episode 14 of the previous one.For example,The Christmas Invasion aired in 2005 so that's the last episode.
