no, I just can't stand all these people shouting "oh let's bring back every godamn villain and doctor 'cause it would be cool." NO conideration for the fact it would **** up the show and there would be nothing fresh.
I think it would be fresh - new characters are often weak, and although I see what your saying, the episodes are actually new, the storyline and so on, so it's not keeping stuff for nostalgic reasons.
Even so, people will get sick of seeing old monsters they'd only seen a couple of times anyway. Like the ice warriors, they were good for 2 stories, they bought them back for another 2 and it sucked. When you bring back a monster for the sake of it, it sucks. Just look at "day of the daleks", the Daleks weren't even MEANT to be in that story, but as it was a season opener, they thought it would be good for the ratings. The Daleks then looked totally out of place in the plot and it sucked.

But this new run is in a lot of ways, I think, better than the previous run. So it's good to see some old monsters brought back in a new style Doctor Who.

The ICONIC ones, yes, not each villain. you lot are saying "bring back the rani, bring back omega, bring back the valeyard, bring back all the Doctors." Omega appeared in one serial, The 3 Doctors, and was fantastic, they bought him back for Peter Davison, and he was crap. But do you not wonder why they were crap? Was it that they were milked? Milked dry after just one episode? I doubt it. Maybe it was something else, lke the story?
