Surely thought Donna would be a changed woman, she was so irritated in the Christmas special as she had vanished from her wedding and wanted to get back, then her whole life fell apart around her.

Perhaps the new one we'll see will be a calmer Donna, although as dbl suggests, she might be used to bring out another side of the Doctor.

That's what I'm counting on. I don't like the idea of bringing out an irritable side of the Doctor. This would effectively turn it into a comedy. After seeing Donna's level of intelligence, I doubt she'll be doing more than running around screaming Sad

The most annoying sidekicks were usually the ones who ran around shouting "Doctor Doctor! Oh how do I do this how do I do that?" Which is what I feel Catherine will be like, as was Billie Piper.

Yeah, I think Martha had more of an independent and strong-willed mind as an assistant-- a contrast to Rose.

I personally think that Catherine Tate may be unexpectedly superb as a feisty assistant. The programme may even be improved especially when Martha returns during the series. All I suggest is wait and see.

I still wish there would have another Doctor appear like Sylvester McCoy, I would like to see that, as these two doctor seem to have something alike yet Different

I quite like to see Peter Davison back personally.

I suppose the 'fan's ' choice would be Tom Baker though!

Don't get me wrong though. I like Who as much as the next man, but it doesn't revolve around Tom Baker for me, as Davison is the first Dr who's era I saw completely on original transmission! (Actually a slight lie as I didn't see most of Season 20 until it appeared on UK Gold!)

I don't think we need the Doctors to be meeting up all the time. Save it for special occaisions, for the 100th time, more new things, keep it fresh!

Why not wait for Who 's 50th birthday in 2012? Then we can also have it while the London Olympics are on, which could provide a perfect storyline for multiple Doctors. Forgetting logo discrepancies of course.
