Why is Freema going so soon, I liked her. She was better than Billie in my opinion.

It's not Freema, it's RTD that doing all this.

That took three readings to work out Confused

Are you asking if people think Catherine Tate will be playing the Master's wife?

If so, no. The BBC article makes it clear she will be playing Donna again.

No he means that the hand seen at the end of the series could be Donna's hand.

I disagree however.

I don't think it's a good idea to bring Catherine Tate back. She can't act and spoiled the entire Xmas episode by her presence.

In your opinion.

Clearly RTD doesn't appreciate the general reaction from the fans after Xmas.

Tate will spoil the series and ratings will plummet.

I seem to recall that the ratings for the Runaway Bride Christmas special held up very well, actually.

Perhaps we should wait and see what the writers write for her in terms of an emotional journey and how the directors bring her best out.

There was never a definitive answer given onscreen, so no-one knows whether the Doctor was really her grandfather or that was just a nickname for him.

There aren't enough swear words in an entire series of Torchwood to express my feelings about this news.

Oh.. errm... Maybe they did that deliberately so when Martha comes back, we'll be glad she's back. Thats my way of dealing with this news. Shocked

Or Torchwood styleee
"Who ever did the f**king casting, is a f**king w*nker, the f*cking tosspot, they should have f*cking chose Sally Sparrow" Crying or Very sad

I think I'll take back my opinion, I believe I overreacted. I think maybe Donna could reveal an annoyed/irritated side to The Doctor, which should be funny. I think I'll reserve judgement till Series 4 comes out.

You know absolutely nothing about him having a son. For god's sake man, stop treating everything as a fact! It's a tabloid rumour at best. And Susan was from Gallifrey, she mentioned this in the first episode, that she as from another planet.

I'm hoping that Catherine Tate is calmer and less annoying than she was in The Runaway Bride, seeing as she knows the Doctor better, and will be more accepting.

The most annoying sidekicks were usually the ones who ran around shouting "Doctor Doctor! Oh how do I do this how do I do that?" Which is what I feel Catherine will be like, as was Billie Piper.

Surely thought Donna would be a changed woman, she was so irritated in the Christmas special as she had vanished from her wedding and wanted to get back, then her whole life fell apart around her.

Perhaps the new one we'll see will be a calmer Donna, although as dbl suggests, she might be used to bring out another side of the Doctor.
