this is from WIKI:

On 1 July 2007, the BBC3 Programme 60 Seconds reported that the Doctor will have two companions in the next series. Freema Agyeman (Martha) will be back midway through the series so to "give the Doctor time to get another companion". Martha will also appear in three episodes of Torchwood. [2]

There should be a new male companion IMO - it would add a bit of variety to have only a few blokes in the TARDIS for a while.

Yes but you know what would happen if they did that with RTD at the writing helm.

(No i'm not being stereotypical here, that's exactly what WOULD happen, lets face it!)

How exactly is this not being stereotypical? Confused

Why are you quoting from Wikipedia rather than quoting from the source of the story itself? Just a little bit stupid if you ask me.

Ok so i am. Laughing But not stereotypical of gay writers in general, it would be stereotypical of RTD himself Razz

No I'm sorry, I've watched it twice now and found it to be a whole pile of stinking drivvel.

The main problem I had was with the whole "doctor" chanting and the absurd ageing business. Perhaps it could have broken the telepathic hold that the master had on the population but not done all that nonsense of making him float. How that ever got to air is beyond me, and as for the Titanic. well bah.

Kylie stars in festive Doctor Who

David Tennant and Kylie Minogue
Russell T Davies is "delighted" to have Kylie in the show
Pop star Kylie Minogue is to have "a major lead role" in this year's Christmas special of Doctor Who.

(Whether they'd end up just lounging about, getting drunk and watching the football I don't know.)

There have been a few in the past that have help out the Doctor:

2nd Doctor - Jamie
4th Doctor - Harry & Adric
5th Doctor - Adric & Turlough

However since then there hasn't really been a perminate male companion, however it would work a bit better with another female companion to see Martha's reaction Laughing

Wonder how many more series Tennant will do? We all know he is doing Series 4 but does anyone think he would do all of Series 5?

I think he will do the 5th as he is also doing a other programmes, remember that one of film he did about a man getting back to normal life,

also He not the last of the time lords: as there is one other! can;t remember his name but he's stuck on the other side of the black hole eye thing that make it possble to time travel

Omega. Hopefully the Rani's out there somewhere too. And perhaps even the Meddling Monk. Susan was left on Earth, so concievably she's still around too.

I though Tennant was definately leaving halfway through Series 4, with a mid-season regeneration?

Can't remember where I heard that, but I'm sure it was ages ago, and I've always regarded it as an absolute fact. Confused

I thought it was just something the tabloids reported (?)
