I now find it ironic after years of seeing 'older' actors playing the Doctor, I am a week older than the current actor playing the role!

DT was born 19/4/71.

Yours truly appeared a week earlier on the 12th!

Should DT be leaving, I vote Nick Harvey for the Doctor.

A great episode concluding an excellent story. Tennant has shown that he still has at least another series in him yet, and Freema Agyeman is fitting in perfectly to this series, proof if need be that The Sun is talkign b*ll*cks, as usual.

Not sure if anyone would agree with this but what I would like to see for series 4 is 2 episodes for each story with the final been spread out over 3 episodes. After watching a few of the old Doctor Who episodes of recently I think we should definately see more 2 parter stories.

In doing this though I think the series should be extended from 13 - 18 episodes.

Anyone else agree with this at all?

I'd say at least 16 episodes, with America Cable channels , it's quite common for it to be either 13 or 16-ish.

That episode was absolutely magnficient. Exceptional.

Fantastically scripted, structured, cast and acted. Best episode of the new Who IMO.

It was a fantastic episode last night. Brilliantly written. I liked Paul Cornell's "Father's day" from series 1 as well but this beats it.

Anyone notice a slight moment of bathos in last night's DW? An homage to the Fast Show , when the possesed schoolboy and his scarecrow first turned up at the school, all that "sir" business?

"I sir, weird sir? Awfully not sir. Are you scared sir? You should be sir. Headmaster sir, suits you sir, oooow".

Hmmm... maybe not Laughing

Did I miss something, in the first episode, when Tim collides with Martha, it flashed to the present day with 'Tim' colliding with Martha and calling her name, what was that all about.

wonder how Silvester McCoy would have played it. Guess Matha took the place of Ace.

Fair enough, I assume the current Doctor Who is more gruelling to record that the old style Doctor Who?
