Major peeved off, Dreamland was supposed to start at 9:30 this morning with a Red button commentary from Gary Russell and Phil Ford, turn on my telly at 9:23 to see it already started. even the EPG still had 9:30 as the start time. Anyone know what ran short?
I'm informed by a fan of both series that lurking in Arthur's bedroom a Sontaran battle helmet has been seen.
Could it have possibly been a Judoon helmet, that would tie in the whole Shadow Proclomation (sp) bit in Journey's End Part 1.
I'm not convinced there really will be a tie in between the two shows.
I'm doubting there'd be an actual tie, but I'm certain the Beeb are putting in subtle nods knowing the majority of the audiences are the same. The score, the choice of shots, the whole last Lords link there now is.

I'm not sure what happened there - oddly, all online sources and the EPG incorrectly show Dreamland starting at 9.30, yet the Radio Times (print version) shows the correct schedule, with it starting at 9.20.
No comments yet? I'm surprised! (Or does everyone else have a life on Christmas Day!)
Despite my earlier comments about having reservations about the story, I'll happily say I really enjoyed tonight's episode and will look forward to the conclusion.
No surprise about the return of the Time Lords being woven into the story - Timothy Dalton at that - I personally felt it was needed. At least, in a way, it will be leaving the possibility of another re-boot of the series for the eleventh Doctor's stories and the opportunity to rid the programme of RTD's more childish elements. (And yes, I'm aware tonight's was written by RTD, and no, there don't need to be childish elements to keep the kids interested.)
A very good episode I think. I'm not going to get my hopes up too much though. Davies is good at writing set-ups, but I'm often let down by the resolution. And what the hell was that 'Barack Obama' object? It looked as realistic as 'the Queen' from Mitchell and Webb last week. Except that was a comedy show, so it was fair enough.
Yeah very good, had quite a filmic feel to it... but I guess if the bluray gives you the option of watching "The End of Time" as one story, it would be film lengthed. Take note DVD producers!
As for Part One, Gallifrey returning was very predictable with "The Narrator" being credited months ago. Would have been "Narrator" if it wasn't a Time Lord afterall.
I just feel sorry for John having to film The Master so many times in so many costumes! Would have taken him forever to get all that done... the press conference was a day of filming on its own!
Anyway, last minute speculations for who ends up knocking and killing our resident Time Lord?
