When did the Master like Jelly Babies? Confused

Twice. He offered one to the President on the runway, and then again to his wife before the Toclafane turned up.

There's been little bits of old school Who in the modern series though, one example being the Master's liking for Jelly Babies.

I'd say this is on a whole different scale to a regeneration!

Kids wouldn't care about not knowing him beforehand if we're honest... they'd see McGann burst into light and turn into Eccleston, and suddenly they'd act like they were experts on the 8th Doctor. Suddenly saying he was their favourite and that they'd seen "all" his episodes.

...you know what kids are like. Laughing

So if that's the reaction they'd get, they may as well put it in for the genuinely interested people who wanted to know what happened all these years.

Yes. I do know what kids are like. I've been working with kids for nearly 20 years.

And I disagree with you. But I don't think we'll ever agree on this one, so perhaps we should let it lie.

This has got to be the most saddest programme on TV today, with Strictly coming 2nd. I really don't understand how people watch this childish show.

I suspect it's lack of being on Sky is clouding our esteemed member's viewpoint somewhat.

Gosh, thank you so much for taking the time and effort to post on a topic about a programme you don't like.

We all feel much better for your input.

most saddest ... childish....

Yup, sums you up perfectly.

PS - You either have most + adjective, or you have adjective-est. You don't have both.

It's a much better programme than anything Sky shows IMO, which is full of "sad" programmes anyway.

David just possibly let slip on Norton's show that his 10th Doctor might be meeting Matt's 11th Doctor come New Year... so I'm presuming the idea of Rose's other Doctor being around could happen now.

Ah but as we know with the outgoing team they like playing tricks on the fans from time to time so this may not happen Smile Unless...

Just before the 10th Doctor regenerates, he sees his 11th self. I do wonder if the Time Lords will return & force the 10th Doctor to regenerate, much like they did with the 2nd Doctor?
