In theory yes, but this is Doctor Who, where the Sontarans, who are a clone race & should always look the same, never look the same (see The Two Doctors & The Sontaran Stratagem when more than two appear on screen at the same time)
I think, IIRC, in Part 1 Captain Jack says that they repair cells, perhaps the Ninth Doctor's wording was perhaps a bit wrong?
The Empty Child is a great story anyway so I always let them off for any flaws in that one anyway.
Liking Matt's costume BTW, has hints of Troughton's costume in it.
just watched the empty child again on Iplayer and I'm a bit puzzled
if the nanobots are recreating the human race based on the body of a dead child wearing a gas mask wouldn't the other people affected be changed into little boys wearing gasmasks, or at least males

LOL. I have amended my post, Gav.
However, I didn't really see it as a spoiler as it was in MediaGuardian and no doubt it will be in the daily papers for all to see tomorrow. It might be difficult to avoid seeing it before the series starts next year.

I do appreciate Gav's point on this. Although not a 'spoiler' in terms of plot, a new logo is quite indicative of the fact that the show will be taking a new direction following RTD's departure. Even though it will be readily available elsewhere, perhaps it's better that I included the necessary tags to allow people to choose whether or not to see it here.
