I have a feeling the time and money has been spent on the final episodes so this was probably just a filler. A bit dull but entertaining none the less. I would love to see Michelle Ryan as an assistant, maybe without the flying bus! Laughing

Lee Evans was fantastic and very funny, I hope he returns too.... "I Love You!"

Here's hoping there's a bit more bite in the Autumn episode.

I'm not even a who fan and I thought the stupid, poor plotline and the as-per usual poor CG made this a rather rubish episode.

Mainly it was the fact it was by Russel T. Davies

The best thing was Lee Evans, who was rather funny.
The worst however is the fly headed humanoids, why not make them hunchbacked?

Also, why do earless fly-aliens use headsets that are designed to perfectly fit the human ear?

Ah so you didn't like Doctor Who or Red Dwarf then, fair enough although from what I saw it didn't look "stupid" at all.

When the hell did I say I hated Red Dwarf, I thought it was great.

Embarassed

I humbly apologise, I got you mixed up with another poster on the Red Dwarf thread.

Apologies Embarassed

I have been trying to think what the "He will knock four times" means which was said at the end of the Easter Special.

At first I thought it had something to do with the Master as he used the Four knock in the last two episodes of series three to control people, however on the BBC commentary, David Tennant said what ever you thought it was, it isn't that.

Does anyone have any ideas about it. I like these teasers, each series has had one since Bad Wold in series one.

Knock 4 times is pretty obvious it's the Master. (remember that knocking pattern from series 3)

David Tennant did say that if you think you know what the 4 knocks means, you are wrong Smile So I don't think it is The Master.

Well seeing Simm has been seen at filming locations with the rest of the crew, me thinks Tennant is trying to veer us off course somehow. Laughing

Doctor Who: John Simm Returns

As the days count down to Tennant's farewell, more faces return - some friendly, some not...

After Bernard Cribbins was spotted on set filming the last of the Doctor Who specials earlier this week, today saw the return of another familiar face, John Simm.

The actor, who played The Master in three episodes of Series 3 of the hit sci~fi show, was seen sporting a newly dyed blonde hairstyle on the grounds of Tredegar House. With Cribbins and Simm now in the bag, all eyes turn to next week when filming returns to Donna Noble's home and a possible appearance from Catherine Tate. She and David Tennant are presenting a BBC Radio 2 show on Saturday 11th from 10am until 1pm.

The last of the specials are due to be broadcast over the Christmas period with the finale, featuring Tennant's regeneration into Matt Smith, airing on New Year's Day. Russell T Davies recently revealed that the second of this year's specials will be broadcast before this period, shortening the gap for Who fans.

Oh, and on another topic, Torchwood's broadcast date has been leaked by Watch's latest press release. Stating that on June 15th, at 10pm [just one hour after BBC One broadcast Children of Earth] Watch will be repeating episodes from series one.

In other words, Children of Earth will start at 9pm on June 15th. Bet the Beeb aren't overly pleased with that department adding times and dates in like that... Laughing

I really wish you'd put that in a spoiler tag so I had a choice of whether to find that out now or not.

Just because the Master is appearing (I know nothing either way), it does not necessarily mean that the knocks are connected with him - or that the knocks are simple tapping. If that makes sense.

I approve, it's only a photo but I still approve Laughing

Interestingly enough on the DWF there was rumours of a Celtic woman from the past being the next possible companion, and considering she's Scottish that rumour may be true. Will make a change from all the Cockney companions over the last five years Very Happy

I wonder if she's related to Jamie McCrimmon in any way Wink
