Pertwee - Continued with the Hartnell/Troughton one, including the photocopied wall (which is evern more noticable in colour, see below) Then got redesigned with the "washing bowl" wall (See Below) for The Time Monster only which was disliked by Producer Barry Letts & was damamged in storage anyway. New set & change to console.
Tom - Continued on from Pertwee, Season 14 saw the excellent Wooden console (See below), which was damaged in storage & was dislike dby Graham Williams anyway. New white design introduced, of which the wall style at least remained until 1988's Greatest Show In The Galaxy, the console instelf remained until the end of Tom's reign
Peter/Colin/Sylvester - Peter kept the Tom's console until The Kings Demons. The Five Doctors saw the new console introduced (See below) which was in use up to & including Battlefield, although the walls were damaged between Greatest Show & Battlefield
McGann - Unique, one off console & console room, looked great but felt less like a spaceship & more like a front room, not that that is necessarilly a bad thing.
Yay - that's the one I remember well - and it was with us for years and years and years.
EDIT: Or perhaps its the one after the one I remember for years and years.
Anyway - "Stale"? *Pfft*
The 80's console room was used (some would argue overused) a lot during Peter's era & Colin's era, in Castrovalva all sorts of rooms appear during the first two episodes giving a sense of how big it is inside (even though it unfortunately is all on one level).
After the Hiatus it appeared less & less. Some say it looked stale by Colin's era but I always rather liked it, even the old BBC Micro monitors
The Wooden one was only used in four of six stories of Season 14, of which it's biggest apperance is during The Deadly Assassin.
If I remember I'll try & post a picture of the "propsed" one for Season 27, off of the Survival DVD, sometime this evening
I have seen this mentioned in a few places. It looks very very dodgy.
Who is running it? The domain has been registered through a company that hides the real owners details. They use gmail as their only contact details and don't mention any registered charity numbers.
How are they allowed to use the Dr. Who name and logo when "DrWhoogle.com is completely independent of the BBC" and "is a Doctor Who fan site".
Either this is something very dodgy or it is run by people who have made a site that looks very dodgy.
Can anyone expand on a memory I have of the TARDIS landing inside the TARDIS console room, and each time the Doctor and companion entered the doors, the interior got darker and darker?

Hmmm?
Wasn't that when the
Doctor
's TARDIS landed inside the
Master
's TARDIS during the Pertwee era [maybe
Time Monster
?)
