Doctor Who - Discussions on Season 5 onwards

The only demise we would ever see for McGann doctor would have to be at the near end of the Time War - as this has never been shown and something happened to the Doctor, which has been very slowly, but never fully, explained, during the war

The Sci Fi Channel are having a 'Doctor Who Weekend' with old episodes editted together got some good stories actually!

I noticed those when surfing through the EPG. This must be a first for the Sci-Fi Channel, is it?

I've never seen episodes of Dr Who anywhere other than on the UKTV channels.

I think at one stage there was an idea (or at least a rumour) bouncing round that they were going to do The Time War as a spin off series with the 8th Doctor, however these plans were "supposedly" shelved as there was going to be a "Rose" spin-off. Probably a load of b*ll*cks but I remember reading that (possibly on here) once upon a time.

RTD is going to have a new book out soon about behind the scenes stuff on Doctor Who called The Writer's Tale. Looks like a very interesting read.

You might like to know that the legendary Tom Baker will be hosting Have I Got News For You on Halloween night at 9.00pm on BBC1. That's in three weeks time on Friday people!

I've had the book for a while and think it's a fantastic read, a real insight into the genius' mind and in some ways an honest look at how paranoid and somewhat depressed Russell really is.

One other bit of news not touched on here is the title of the christmas special

Even then though, the title of the xmas special is somewhat misleading... thought I'd point that out before people start panicing about saying TTFN to David

I'm not sure the title is misleading as RTD has stated that's who the person is. But Tennant is definitely doing all of the specials next year as he confirmed it in Doctor Who Magazine.
