Absolutely stunning. I love how R T Davies wrapped up all his series so far, with the return to the beach with Rose and the parallel universe, great end, superb. Cant wait for the Christmas episode, along with the other 2 specials that will follow before the 2010 series. I wonder who the next Doctor will actually be. Good times are ahead.

For all we know, he might stay in the role till 2010!
That was without a doubt THE most amazing episode of Doctor Who I have ever seen, umm since 1978! Superb - THAT deserves a BAFTA and more! Russell ended his time on the show with utter perfection, will be very interesting to see how the next season unfolds...
I loved it. Nicely wrapped up the Rose character by The Doctor giving her a copy of him (except Human)... I have a feeling Mickey and Martha might be joining Torchwood, and notice how they mentioned Gwenyth Oh and German Daleks

Not ashamed to say that I cried my eyes out at the end of the ep - then again at the end of Confidential. Why didn't the Doctor take Wilf up in the Tardis... that would have been perfect.
I wasn't sure about Cribbins being in the series (remembering him being in the '66 Dalek Invasion film), but at the end, he stole it completely.
That was, for me, possibly the worst episode of the season and definitely the worst finale of the New Who, even worse than last year's. I can't even be bothered to elaborate I am
that
disappointed.
I'm glad the rest of you enjoyed it though, I still love the show in general!
That was absolutely, Fantastic, Brilliant, and every other word the Doctor tried out after his tenth (AND STILL CURRENT) regeneration of the Doctor, that scene of the 'children of time' bringing the Earth home is one of those iconic scenes that will go down in folklore.
(on a side note it was nice to put the Gwen/Gwyneth connection to bed)
I'm not sure about Martha being a full time Torchwood member. I myself would have preferred her to stay with UNIT. IMO if the brig was brought back he could have been a character that could pop up in any of the spinoffs like Torchwood or Sarah Jane Adventures. Since the brig isn't returning as yet, Martha could have filled that role instead. Time will tell.
