I do agree even in spite of my speculation, that the doctors real name should always be secret. It is part of the shows enigmatic style that these secrets are kept and revealing a name would undoubtedly lead to anti-climactic disappointments. I have even come round to thinking that maybe the enigma of River Song is part of the thrill! So, hands in air surrendering, no more speculation from me, at least not on this forum!
Earlier today the image on the link below was posted on Richard Who's website but quickly removed, but luckily someone at Outpost Gallifrey got it and saved it.
I wish there was a thread dedicated to what we've seen rather than all this spoiler talk.
It really takes the joy out of the series.
Many people like spoilers. If they are presented in a spoiler boxes so that you have a choice whether to know or not then there is no harm done. Some people enjoy knowing what will happen, for them it adds to their excitement of the series. Everybody is different.
I have looked around various websites at Christmas special spoilers, the finale to this season spoilers and am really excited about what is supposed to happen. I will never reveal spoilers however because although I share a different viewpoint to you Gavin, I do agree with you and realise that for some, spoilers will take away a lot of their enjoyment. If I do post spoilers then I will use the spoiler boxes.
I'm aware of the use of spolier tags - but there is a knock-on effect in threads like this - such as open discussion about which actors are contracted for next year, Christmas specials and so on.
I managed, unwittingly, to discover the fate of a character by reading this thread. Stuff which may be considered "public information" is mentioned. Its not really "public" from my perspective. I just watch the show. I don't regurgitate rumour from Digital Spy and I don't even read the next week's synopsis from the Radio Times.
I'm a bright chap - even so it doesn't take much to inadvertently discover things you'd rather not know.
I'm not trying to be a thread Nazi, I was just sort of wishing there could be a thread just for people who choose, deliberately, not to read ahead.

That would be my account. It was actually on there via somebody else's account, but it got removed, and so I uploaded it again, but made sure not to mention it at Outpost Gallifrey. That's probably why it hasn't been taken down again.

I think RTD has lost the plot if the suspicians for this weeks episode are true. According to the BBC Doctor Who website, some kids have reviewed tthe episode. However, although they found it really scary, about 30 minutes in one of the kids declare
