What's bleeding obvious is that you two both read emotion in an emotionless medium. Typical humans, always seeing things that aren't there.

This backs up my suspicion that Matt Smith may actually regenerate in the November Anniversary Special, with perhaps some sort of flashback appearance at Christmas.

If the regeneration happens at the end of the Christmas special, Capaldi isn't going to have much chance to 'premiere his unique take on the Doctor'.

I think you're reading too much into typical press-release fluff.

Peter Capaldi is a good choice. Let's see what the writers do with the character now.

Interesting choice, with many possibilities.

Wow, first Karen Gillan, now Peter Capaldi, Fires of Pompeii was a much more significant episode then anyone could have guessed. They'll announce Phil Davis as the Master any day now.

So he is not the second person to be in the series to come to play the doctor, I wonder if he will have any traces of No6...

So you're saying you're not human?

I feel I, and other members, have trodden this ground many times; however, I will reiterate that sarcasm can be detected in writing. Simple incongruity is a common source of irony and sarcasm, for example.

I'm not sure you'd appreciate the irony of extolling the virtues of eschewing human emotion in a Doctor Who thread either.

good choice for the 12th, wasn't he in torchwood?
Frobisher in Children of Earth, yeah.
He is the same age as William Hartnell was when he first took on the role, 55.
Two months younger, to be precise.

Announcement show got 6.1m / 29.8% share according to the overnights. Most watched show on any network yesterday I think.

Of course he's odd enough to remember every single doctor.

I'm assuming there's a typo in there but it works just as well like that anyway.

Yes.

Thank you.

I do realise it's only a suspicion.
