Thing is, these are the kinds of things that improved when Moffat took over. The cinematography, editing and even special effects (when the Doctor wasn't riding dinosaurs) took a massive bump upwards in quality. Doctor Who knows how to do refreshes, what it hasn't done is kept it up past the first series of a Doctor.

It's surprisingly high quality for a simple logo reveal. It actualy looks better than those awful opening titles from poor Peter Capaldi years imo.
Going back to the video for the logo reveal, I've rewatched it a few times and I'm really impressed with the level of detail 'inside' the logo as the TARDIS zooms past.
Do we think the logo preview has been created by the new graphics & effects team on the programme? If so, it could be a sign of brilliant things to come.

Maybe? but, apparently, the show isn't returning until October so I wouldn't have thought the opening titles have even been conceived yet let alone finished.
