Disney channel

A bit of a random question, but whilst channel hoping I came across the Disney channel and noticed that they now show adverts.
When did this start? What sort of arrangement did they used to have with sky so that they didn't have to air them?

No, Disney Channel does indeed have adverts now.

When do there get played? I have still so Songs appearing instead of adverts, unless its in the actually programmes?

Indeed. Today they had a few minutes of adverts (a lot of them disney related) and then a song following surrounded by about 5 trailers to fill the 10 minutes from the end of one programme until the start of the next.

Long gone are the good days of studio disney.

Studio Disney was never that good.
