This may be an appropriate place to point out that, for a short while tonight, both BBC One and BBC Two will be off air, and showing Pages from Ceefax.

And you say they're not good to you at Christmas.

(It's between 2.15, when BBC Two goes to sleep, and 2.20, when the Sign Zone starts on BBC One)

Happy now?

What the hell? BBC2 is closing down anyway, due to the Learning Zone having it's Xmas break, which EVERYBODY should already know about here. BBC1 didn't go to PFC at the end of the film, it went straight to the Sign Zone. If it was planning to go to PFC, then it must've got behind time a little and not bothered after all. It would probably just have popped a holding caption up and played some music for a bit anyway. And it's not an appropriate place.

Not trying to be unfriendly about it, just completely confused as to why you posted it here.

i think the previous poster must have been referring to bbc one in one of the provinces, as they tend to cross to ceefax for a few minutes before crossing to bbc one enlgand to take the sign zone.

Ah, I hadn't realised that BBC Scotland went their own way last night - Empire Records wasn't shown to make way for Film 2003, which was moved from another night - which left an hour's gap.

Perhaps Annunciatore could explain, in particular, how ITV1 - with what most people, myself included, believe was the far better Christmas presentation package - had a significantly lower audience share (by a good 15%) than the presentationally inferior BBC ONE?

Annunciatore apparently can't, but I can - the BBC had Only Fools And Horses and ITV didn't!

That's what it comes down to, plain and simple. Note how the Media Guardian report pointed out that BBC-1 has beaten ITV for the last three Christmas Days... it's no coincidence that for the last three Christmas Days, BBC-1 has had a new episode of OFAH as the centrepiece of their schedule. Next year, of course, they won't...

And then Annunciatore said to BBC LDN...

You really are an arrogant, aggressive, presumptious and unpleasant little person, aren't you?

Ah, the classic "I don't have any answers to the very pertinent questions he asked, so I'll just dodge them by jumping on the personal insult bandwagon" evasion technique! Wink

Whose upper thighs? Mine or c@t's? Shocked

Anyway, I can't. c@t and I have had a minor falling out.

Sorry to disappoint those looking for hot gossip on a Sunday evening. Laughing

Ahh, I still love you really.

And as for what I'm wearing: don't you people view my Gaydar profile?

Why on earth is the section starred out when you've only got to go to the "www" link on his post to see that it's "mikaat"?

Surely the profanity filter isn't set to stop us from knowing the address of a web site?

My profanity filter is working though Laughing
Last time I'd bothered to look, c@t had hidden his gaydar profile - I hadn't realised it was back on his www link.

Mind you, it was also an attempt at humour - which, as the Grande Dame thereof, you should have recognised.

At my advanced years and on my second wife, I'm sure I've not a clue of what you are speaking!

Another couple of months, if we're lucky!
