My goodness, five posts and he thinks he can tell us what to say on "our" forum!
I'd recommend a "gentler" approach until you've got a few hundred posts under your belt, Sir!
I apologise to other seasoned forumers for the fact that he appears to be from the West region.
You do me a great disservice, sir. My approach was quite gentle thank you very much, until I was "attacked" by that other member. I uphold the democratic right to free speech...but I do not welcome needlessly aggressive responses. Is a gentleman not to defend himself? I think you ought to be pointing the finger elsewhere and consider what sort of impression you make to new and potential members. Courtesy costs nothing.
I don't run from bullies like you. Consider yourself ignored.
Many have tried, all have failed. You'll crumble soon. Just wait til c@t sinks his claws in too.
O, come, all ye faithful... my bed is open to all.
<ahem>
Oh and here I was thinking that I was your one true love and that your bed linen was kept fresh for me and me alone.
Either way, I would just add that, flicking through today's Sunday Telegraph Magazine (bought by The Elders, in a tragic moment of right-wing flirtation), I was somewhat irritated to find that the crux of BBC One's Christmas line up was just American films from a few years ago, whereas ITV seem to be churning out some really decent home grown stuff in primetime.
I see I've found this week's 'fight' and 'newcomer tries to overthrow the good folk of TVF' and 'someone predicts the end of TV life on <insert channel(s) of choice>' threads all rolled into one! How lovely.
Seasons Greetings to all those involved. Do you mind if I just watch or do I have to join in?
For the record:
***I love discussing TV pres, but I don't let poor pres put me off watching the channels (or more specifically the programmes) that I want to watch, and
*** all the folk involved here in defending the honour of TVF (yep, even you tomc@t x ) are just lovely people..... </camp frippery>
This may be an appropriate place to point out that, for a short while tonight, both BBC One and BBC Two will be off air, and showing Pages from Ceefax.
And you say they're not good to you at Christmas.
(It's between 2.15, when BBC Two goes to sleep, and 2.20, when the Sign Zone starts on BBC One)

Happy now?
What the hell? BBC2 is closing down anyway, due to the Learning Zone having it's Xmas break, which EVERYBODY should already know about here. BBC1 didn't go to PFC at the end of the film, it went straight to the Sign Zone. If it was planning to go to PFC, then it must've got behind time a little and not bothered after all. It would probably just have popped a holding caption up and played some music for a bit anyway. And it's not an appropriate place.
Not trying to be unfriendly about it, just completely confused as to why you posted it here.
