Melanie, my dear fruit... If you were any kind of professional, you'd realise these things:

1. There is quite obviously an advertising policy in place at this site. How do we know this? There is a banner advertisement at the top of this page. To even the most backward child, this is a clear indicator that dumping ads anywhere else is not welcome.

2. This is a UK-based site. Once again I refer you to the backward child as a benchmark for your intelligence, for again the brainless infant realised before you did that this was so. How? By referring to the .co.uk suffix. The company that you represent appears to operate solely within the United States.

3. Despite what FOX News may think, the United States and the United Kingdom are two seperate entities. Again, the kid beat you to it on that one.

4. Bearing in mind all of the above, particularly the first point, it comes across as highly unprofessional - and rather desperate - of you to use this kind of tactic, and reflects rather poorly on the company which you represent.

Might I suggest that you engage in conversation with the child whom we now all know and love, because there are many, many things that you can learn from it, despite its microscopic intellect.

I doubt "Melanie" will pay much attention to what you've said...... it looks to me as if this group is the latest one to fall victim to the spammers Sad

At least it wasn't a porn advert that got through Very Happy - many other groups that I'm on have been ruined by porn peddlers masquerading as posters.

Look closely and you'll see she dosn't even work for the company. She's just joined an online Affiliate program to earn some pocket money. Just change the numer at the end of the web address, you'll see the name change each time. :p

Interesting, but this is the U.K and not the U.S.

It's amazing how many of these sort of things I've recieved recently. If it's not free satellite then it's illegal cable descramblers..... and then huge adverts on my Yahoo account advertising programmes on 'The USA Network'

Totally useless!

(and before you ask, so are the ads for 'generic viagra' and 'extensions')

You say that like it's a bad thing - I for one think TV Forum could do with a bit of raunchiness. Bring it on!

Right, the no advertising policy being what it is, I think we're done here. Thanks very much all.
