I find it bizarre that with Home becoming HGTV tomorrow, they're still advertising programmes as being on Home the rest of this week - including brand new series. I would have thought that it would have been appropriate to use the trailers to advertise the changes.
Presumably they've made both "Home"- and "HGTV"-branded variants of every trailer, and they'll change which ones they use in-sync with channel relaunch?

Also - mods - this shouldn't really (no pun) be in the UKTV presentation thread now...
I know it's not quite the same, but as far as I remember the same situation happened with [Sky] Living - no mention of the new brand even, with normal trailers right to the end.
As already said, it does seem a little odd commenting on the rebrand in the UKTV thread... but I quite like what they've done with HGTV, however I'm noticing that the idents are quite separate to everything else, the other OSP seems to be taking the dplay branding and just adding a different logo and adjusting the font, especially with the circle zig zag line used at the end of trailers and on the ECP.
Also a little different when compared to Discovery's other channels, the Next IPP is on the right hand side, while the usual text advertising something that's on later tonight is on the left next to the channel logo.
I do think that some of the Discovery channels are in need of a slight refresh, the zig-zags could go well with the current branding of Quest if adapted right since that could unify most of the channels and imply that Discovery owns it all.
