The name 'QUEST red' just seems sloppy to me. They could've called it anything, even 'QUESTion' or something seeing as there's quite the crime genre thing going on but no. Red.

Quest Red was the code name, which they decided to make the actual name. But I agree, it sounds a bit clunky.

I highly, highly doubt that considering that service is not yet two years old, is not aimed at the same audience and doesn't even exist in the UK.

The best you can get for YouTube Red content is buying episodes separately IIRC.

The listings were up on the RadioTimes website; safe to say that it's not just TLC and ID content, some programming from Home & Health and Animal Planet is prevalent in the schedule.

It's not available in the UK at the moment, but it is widely known. Many of the major YouTube stars that have a huge following in this country (including British based stars) are producing content for it.

'Widely known' - amongst hardcore fans of certain content creators, sure, but amongst casual viewers - I don't think so.

A matter of opinion. I'm certainly not a hardcore fan but am aware of the brand - it's regularly mentioned in videos that get millions of views. It's launching in the UK in a few months either way.

They have also commissioned a 12 part Katie Price reality show. Whatever you think of Katie her shows always did well on itv2. Along with the UK premiere of Jo Frost Nanny On Tour and its other shows this channel should get off on the right foot for its target female audience with the right promotion. The lack of freesat carriage could hurt though.
