It the states, the Discovery brand isn't used too much apart from Discovery Channel itself and Discovery HD Theatre. Here all the channels promote the Discovery brand. I think the new DiscTurbo here is loosly based on the US one, in the same way Wings, Kids and many other now rebraded channels were.
You would think that, but nothing is aired in widescreen, all 14:9. It seems like they've skipped widescreen altogether and gone straight to HD, a very strange move if you ask me. NatGeo introduced widescreen when they lauched HD, so there is no real reason why Discovery can't.
