Did anyone see Diggin' it on saturday? They seem to be replaying old stuff because the your mind thing got repeated again but it was funny.
"Oh my goodness you must be psychic!"
I don't know why they couldn't have just kept the show and put it in a smaller set, maybe CiTV 98' or up on the roof. We'll just have to see what Toonattik's like in 2 weeks.

It's nothing to do with the set and cost as Diggin'It is relatively cheap to produce due to guests performing twice when appearing on the disney channel (just a quick set turnaround), and as mentioned the set is Studio Disney's set with a few changes like sofa covering, and logos, etc.

It's more the fact that GMTV want control of the output, and so are using Disney's and Jetix's (which is basically Disney's anyway) output with their own links. It will most probably end up being like Up on The Roof.

It's a shame they got rid of Liam and Abbie.
Well,at least this means Up on the roof's gone!

BTW,what did DiGGiT do on their last weekend?

It was an 'awards show' type format I believe.

I wonder if Toonattik will be 4:3, like Diggin it, or 16:9 Like up on the roof uneccecerially has been since September (even though all the shows are 4:3).

Was that a cool new word or just the weirdest spelling of unneccesarily I've ever seen!? Wink

So if Liam and Abby aren't presenting Diggin'it anymore, who is?

No-one's presenting Diggin' It, because it's finiashed. Finally laying rest to the Spirit of the Disney Club- from the days when it was Diggit Hosted by Des & Fearne- nearly 7 years ago!

No-one's presenting Diggin' It, as that and Up On The Roof have been axed in a shake up of GMTV's kids programmes from Disney and the Disney owned Jetix.

About time they axed Diggin' It, can't stand the presenters, it was far better in the Paul 'Des' Ballard and Fearne Cotton days. But it has Recess, so as long as that stays I don't care.

It should be noted they've also axed the GMTV Kids brand for little kids shows as well. Instead of three different brands in use on GMTV's Kids output it will just be one.

On Saturdays Toonattick will start at 6am and include everything from Boohbah to Recess

Yeah I noticed this, very strange, depending on the type of programme of course.
From the trailers it looks as if it will be mad that everyone seems to be going on nowadays.
I presume that it will be pre recorded, a shame as I'd love to see a programme that is live and lets people interact, more and more output is becoming pre recorded or is non existant.

I can only think of CBBC & Studio Disney that asks people to contact them, and to think just a few years ago everybody was at it, I'm glad I was around in those days rather than now where there's not even presenters in some cases.

Speaking of Studio Disney, it looks as though Liam & Abbie are moving over permanently to Studio Disney.
They have been presenting recently (as in 2002/03 it had just been over Christmas and start of new year to fill in for missing presenters), and as Serena finished presenting on Friday and with Ollie off promoting Freefaller (that seem to be doing well), it seems as though they'll become permanent presenters on the show, though it'll be set in stone if they appear on the new titles, and I'm presuming they'll change them with Serena not presenting anymore. Useless information for some, but good if you were interested.

Going back to Toonattik, they're drawing their shows from the Disney Channel, Jetix (both of which are Disney owned), CiTV (i.e. from the ITV owned part of GMTV, and some programmes that they appear to have picked up on their own. All adding to a varied schedule.
