The events of last week in America just makes me realise how lucky I am to live in the UK, especially at the time of the terrorists attacks. It also makes me realise how lucky we are to be alive, and not in New York city right now.
It's excellent work James. Well done. It puts it all into perspective. It's very emotional. The Manhatten Skyline will never be the same again
BTW: I made an AVI out of it, it's 31MB. I'll give it MPEG treatment soon.

nicely done - just shows you what can be done with a bit of imagination and know how. that music is perfect for the situation too...
i think the bbc missed a great opportunity to produce and show a piece like that at the end of the 6 or 10 oclock news in the latter part of the week - rather than ending with silent shots of the damage as they did on occasions... to show a bit of style and to sum up the events of the week that had passed.
I'm always having little ideas for things like that, but sadly I don't have the equipment necessary. ie, TV card, unlimited hard disk space, etc.... My idea was similair, but I thought Barber's Adagio for the music.
Where did you get all that footage? most of it was new to me....
