According to figures printed in The Daily Mirror - 2.6 million viewers have already deserted Doctor Who.
Maybe in a few weeks time viewing figures for Doctor Who and Ant and Dec will level out with both programmes getting a similar amount?

The hot weather had a part to play because Ant and Dec was down as well. But I don't think Rose helped it wasn't that good, just like Robot with Tom Baker. The best is yet to come and I think The Unquiet Dead could be the turning point. It looks like classic early Tom Baker era gothic horror!!
Always preferred the scarier early years of Tom to the jokey stuff in his penultimate season. Sadly Davies has written most of the episodes, oh well!
