Who did the recorded in london, Breakfast regional weather forecasts this morning?

Yesterday, Look North's weather was done by Louise Lear, who was it today?

Why Louise? Don't they have their own weather presenters? Do weather presenters who are usually on BBC One and News 24 do other regional weather forcasts?

Alex Deakin did the recorded regional weather forecasts for Breakfast this morning in England and Wales. The presenter who works on News 24 from 9pm on the previous night records the regional forecasts for transmission at 6.58 and 7.58. Scotland is different because the weather presenters in Scotland do their own

Yes Look North does have its own Weather Presenters!

Usually Lisa Gallagher does the Look North weather at 6.58 and 7.58am.

Paul Hudson does the forecasts at 1.40 and 6.50pm.

Paul Hudson is on holiday, which means Lisa Gallagher moves up to cover his bulletins.

If Paul (or Lisa) was taking a whole week off, a London forecaster would come up to Leeds (Such as Elizabeth Saary or that man who sits on a stool) and cover the Breakfast bulletins, but as he's only off three days, we're getting the recorded forecasts from London

I hope that makes things clearer!

When both South Today forecasters were off we had a live link to london, it was Everton Fox a lot. The london centre also did weather live on Radio Solent.

FURTHER DETAIL:

(Aye, 'tis true!)

Usually Lisa Gallagher does the Look North weather at 6.58 and 7.58am. (Which is why I don't watch them)

Paul Hudson does the forecasts at 1.40 and 6.50pm.
(mass swoonathon, accompanied by deep sighing and fainting afterwards)

Paul Hudson is on holiday, which means Lisa Gallagher moves up to cover his bulletins.
(I grin and bear it - seriously, Lisa Gallagher is a nice person. I've met her. She's a wee slip of a Barbie doll, but is friendly and personable)

If Paul (or Lisa) was taking a whole week off, a London forecaster would come up to Leeds (Such as Elizabeth Saary (thankfully a one-off) or that man who sits on a stool) (AAGH! TREVOR APPLETON! NOOOOOOOOOOOO!) and cover the Breakfast bulletins, but as he's only off three days, we're getting the recorded forecasts from London

I hope that makes things (even) clearer!

The two presenters also do recorded forecasts on your own BBC Local Radio Stations.

BBC Radio Leeds, Sheffield, Humberside and York - On the air right now.

Sadly for you Katherine, BBC Radio Lincolnshire are controlled by BBC East Midlands, (even though it gets promotion on Look North) so you don't get to hear this either! Sad

And with both Lisa Gallagher filling in for Paul Hudson and Cathy Killick filling in for Christa Ackroyd at the same time, I bet Harry Gration feels old.
He's not far off being Lisa and Cathy's ages combined!http://web.ukonline.co.uk/tv.home/forum/emoticons/biggrin.gif Wink

BBC Radio Lincolnshire - the most boring, dry, characterless, sterile, dull station on the planet!

But it takes Alex Trellinski in the evenings, unlike BBC WM these days! (If Keith Beech is reading this, do us a favour & bring back Alex to WM. Shabina is rubbish !!)

Interstingly enough if you go on a BBC Tour of television centre you can see him being trained from the video they show you about the BBC Weather
