Perhaps we could do away with small print on insurance commercials on TV and introduce a gabblygabblygabblygabblygabblysubjecttostatustermsandconditionsapply voice-over á la commercial radio.

Now that I'd love to hear.

Seriously though, when Charles Foster used to appear on a TV screen, everybody stopped to listen. Especially if the vacant viewer(s) saw him pick up his own 'station copy' of the TV Times, signifying that said viewer(s) didn't have to bother picking up theirs.

A little bird tells me that Mr Thompsett will be on a mixture of early and late shifts for quite a few days now.

My, my, his agent will be earning lots of ten percents over the next couple of weeks.

Just think of all the knitting needles and crochet hooks all that money will provide!

How is it he only gets 10% deducted? ...........That is so unfair!!!!!!!! They even take half the money from my paper round and the lap dancing.

Fair play, the man is one of the best voice over/ announcer/ presenter/newsreaders in the world. Talk to anyone in the world of advertising-voice overs-presentation and at some point the name Gwynn Thompson will crop up... Now that's fame.
