I note from recent updates to TCB that HTV West was still using the old 70's unbranded white on blue clock in 1988 (I assume HTV Wales had stopped using it by this time?). When did they finally change to the new clock with the second markers that appeared as the minute progressed? The earliest example I've seen of it on HTV West dates from 1991, when did it change?
Also, when did HTV West ditch IVC? I have it on good authority that HTV Wales gave up on it sometime before the logo change, but I've seen a West IVC link which includes the 1993 logo. All I know is that it was gone by 1997, did it last much beyond 1993?
I can't really remember any of the later clocks very well, as I lost interest in tv graphics for a while after everything became computer generated. Having got the interest in graphics back after discovering the internet sites, I set about digging around on old tapes to get the 90's idents off of them, but I have never found any clocks from either BBC, HTV or C4. It'd be nice to see some images to jog my memory about the later HTV Clocks.

TV Ark has just uploaded a load of IVC from HTV West (with an alarming number of announcers who were working at Thames and LWT at the same time - was the extra money really that lucrative when you have to travel to the other side of the country to get it?). The Continuity Booth also has an IVC link from HTV West featuring the 1993 logo, so it must have survived into 1993 at least. I do know that HTV Wales dropped it earlier, but don't know when.

I think IVC must have 'petered out' during 1993 - I was surprised when we received the IVC clips featuring the post Jan-93 ident backdrop as I had always assumed that in-vision continuity disappeared at the same time as this ident was introduced.
