I just caught the last 10 minutes of Dickinson's Real Deal today on ITV1 and noticed when the competition was shown at the end, the wording said:
'If you're very calm, you're said to be 'Cool as a ...' what?
a) Carrot
b) Courgette
c) Cucumber

But when the voice over lady spoke, she said something about
'The sahara and Gobi are two of the worlds largest what?
a) Desert
b) Mountains
c) Lakes

I don't know If the earlier mentioning of the same competition had the same problem as I didn't see it. But this seems pretty bad, and the ITV1 announcer at the end didn't even say anything.

What are viewers supposed to do if they want to enter?

I would suggest they remain as cool as a carrot and opt for answer a.

If the viewer knows that there is a cock up. Don't enter. Straight forward really. However they could drop a note to ITV to highlight their error.

as we all know here on digital spy it's important to be aware of potential cock ups Wink
