I do remember Lizzie having a really catchy song on the Playground stop but anyhow, this is the Dick N Dom thread!

I'll happily make it CBBC Thread if you want Razz
Playdays is good enough a topic for me!

What were you (least) favourite stops?
Peggy Patch, urgh....Like kids wanted to see 20 minutes of fields?
No, the Roundabout was for me.

Come up and ride on Rosie.....

It was only the first page that someone said they wouldn't hear Lizzie say the word dick and then you get a line like that!

Of course in the ye olden days, the programme was called Playbus but was changed for the fear that it may get confused with the actual Playbus company that goes around the UK. I only liked Tuesday's and Friday's which mean the Playground and whatever it was on Friday that featured wibble wobble.

Who needs the Tellytubbies to trip you out when you had Wibble Wobble! Peggy Patch was boring, I never was too keen on Why Bird and as for the Merry Go Round day. Argh!

OOh, I don't know... what's the sign of the lollipop!

As for a CBBC thread. Oh for the days of the Chipmunks, Corners, What's That Noise, Going Live! etc. Oh , how I crave for the days of the late 80's and early 90's when companies weren't afraid of actually spending money on programmes.

I am one of the BIGGEST Dick & Dom fans here! At least i think i am. I watch the show Sat and Sun. And i even met the lads after my tour of TVC. It was one Halloween at 12, they were crossing the road down from White City Station and were on their way to rehersals. But i hope to meet them again on my next tour in March, it's also on a Friday near to the time of when i met them so woop-de-do! Only one thing i can say now is
BOGIES

Its quite ironic that in the year that we live in, I hear Dick being said more times on Childrens TV than I do if I watch Late night Channel 5 or the Adult Channel!
Well that’s the BBC for you. Moving with the times and talking like kids today! I could not imagine 10 years ago hearing Lizzy from Playdays coming out with words such as Dick.

What are you talking about?

There's nothing wrong with the word dick - Moby Dick, Spotted Dick, Dick Barton,... etc

Yes I know there is nothing wrong with the word Dick (I wonder before Dick and Dom was there any other dicks on CBBC?) oh and Is Dick Tracey a cartoon or a fictional character?

To end this!
Dick is another name for Richard (Dick's real name) To make the show sound more for children and not for upper class people they called it Dick And Dom and not Richard and Domonic in The Bungalow. HAPPY Rolling Eyes
