Dick and Dom

Oh dear, a third series. Now what rhymes with D-i-c-k....

Technically the programme is in it's fifth series if you include the ones shown on the CBBC channel. Although I have no major problems with the show (with the possible exception of the vomiting crocodile) I think it is right for this series to be the last so they can go out when it's still on top.

I have to agree I think its best this is the last series of the bungalow. If it carried on for another couple of series it ran the risk of becoming stale.

It seems like this week is the end to quite a few of the existing games. Interesting to see the spare room has been converted to act has 'DC Harry Batts' interogation room. The show has definately been tidied up since the start of this series, and runs a lot smoother than it initally did. Apparently they've got a replacement game to "BOGIES" next week but are refusing to say what it is yet "as it'll appear on ITV" if they say what it is. I suppose 'Supermarket Sneak' is effectively MoM's version of Bogies.

Was amusing to see them stitch up Dom with a load of people dressed up as ghosts do 'Painty painty painty paint paint paint' (or whatever it's called). I liked how they got rid of the ghosts by using a giant Pacman + music (well someone in a Pacman costumen), though I suspect quite a few of the younger viewers won't get the joke. Dom does a fairly good Paul O'Grady / Lilly Savage impersination though.

It was quite bitchy between D&D and MOM this morning.
MOM had 'Son of Dork' (who?) on, who's new single is 'Ticket out of loserville', to that Stephen asked whether "there were any bungalows in loserville." And as mentioned by Charlie, D&D wouldn't say the new game live as "ITV will steal it".

DAD did actually record something in the summer where they took things out of peoples shopping baskets and Dom mentioned it on a radio interview. Few weeks later, the game Supermarket Sneak was on ITV so no doubt that's what you'll be seeing!

I wonder if that's why when MoM decided to have a puppy on the show Dom brought his dog 'Spats' into the bungalow (well I think it's his dog).

Apparently Mom had a mole working on the D&D team. Pathetic really....how desperate must MOM be!?

Whilst MoM are continuing to patronise the viewers and flog their once good but now tired features, Dick and Dom are not afraid to try out new things and if they don't work then they use the faults to their advantage and just take the mickey. However they may end up in the doghouse again after guest Rik Waller's rendition of Rocking All Over The World

Why does The Saturday Show get treated so badly?

It should never get called a Summer Replacement.They don't have those anymore! Dick and Dom's a Winter Replacement and TSS is the main show.
