She always seemed to be a very underrated actress her partnership with Patrick Macnee in The Avengers was for me the highlight of the series.

RIP

Sad to hear, she had a bit of a career resurgence in recent years due to Game of Thrones and she was appearing in All Creatures and Small and the upcoming BBC adaptation of Black Narcissus.

I would imagine All Creatures next week will have a In Memory of card for next week's episode.

It would be a very fitting tribute

I wonder if the BBC or ITV have any sort of tribute or retrospective in the works or already completed.

To me, she will forever be Emma Peel from The Avengers, she brought a unique energy into that show and onto television that hadn't really been seen before at that time.

And she was also Contessa Teresa Di Vicenza (Tracy) from On Her Majesty's Secret Service. I imagine that film will get a previously unplanned showing soon in tribute.

"Mrs Peel, we're needed." RIP Dame Diana Rigg.
