I work in Primark and have had mega talks and extra training all weekend to deal with the backlash of this!
Basically the C4 programme broke the law by secretly interviewing Primark employees in UK stores without hiding their identity (pixelated faces etc lol) and Primark lawyers got it pulled. Whilst it is slightly factually incorrect (at least that's what the managers say) they cannot pull the programme fo this reason. It has been pulled because it broke the law regarding the interviewed employees.
It WILL be back on, the prog makers are going away, editing those bits (covering the identities of the employees who were secretly filmed) and then will be back on the schedule, in a week or two.

Surely it doesn't take a week or two to add some pixelation to the faces of the interviewees and maybe put the voices through a filter.

I suppose that's the earliest slot they have available, I imagine the next couple of weeks are already sorted out?

Grauniad article which backs up the 'not ready to air' argument.
Correct me if I'm wrong but is the 'illusive rival production' discussed in the above article not BBC Three's Blood, Sweat & T-Shirts?

Are the BBC now airing the same programme instead of Channel 4?

Given how far ahead the weekly TV listings magazines such as Radio Times go to press, maybe they want to make sure that the re-scheduling of the programme is far enough ahead to be properly listed, promoted etc?
It's surely par-for-the-course to have to pixelate faces in undercover footage of this kind? How the hell the makers could "forget" to do this, is beyond me. And how it wasn't picked up on until too-close-to-broadcast-for-anything-to-be-done-about-it, is laughable.
What programme replaced it?

I would like to know this aswell? or is there two
The Guardian article linked to earlier in this thread mentioned...
...so I'm guessing this is the 'rival' documentary on the similar topic.

It is understood the broadcaster feared a rival BBC crew was making a documentary on a similar topic and so brought forward the transmission date.
