I don't see the point of it. The presenters (of which there are too many) are trying too hard to be hip and with it...but it instead looks awkward and forced. It just seems a waste of money to me.

Yep, I agree, plus they keep doing that terrible 'panning the camera around the presenter' thing all the time. It looks like a bad Playstation game intro, and it makes me feel dizzy and sick. Why can't people just stick to normal shots these days, they have to keep trying fancy things like this and it makes it look bad. Plus, the camera men must've been drunk as the panning wasn't exactly smooth.

But why stick it on at 11:30pm - 2am....the figures watching will be less than 20,000 on a good night.

Totally agree with you, especially on weekday nights when hardly anyone stays up that late. I think it shoud start at 9pm with this schedule:
2100: Farscape (uncut)
2145: Buffy, the vampire slayer (uncut)
2230: (Break for Eastenders repeat)
2300: Two Pints
2330: Good Girls don't

I think people could bare their eastender being put back 30mins!

I'm sorry but that just sounds awful.

BBC Three shouldn't be relying on any American imports- Sky One, ITV2 and E4 happily cater for that market.

I still think they should try and develop a 3 nights a week chat show in the mould of the Letterman/Lenos from the US. It didn't work with Johnny Vaughan, but I think someone likely Jeremy Clarkson would be fantastic.

I'd watch that live 9-10pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The 3 invesigates strand could be returned to Thursday at 9pm with the excellent comedy lineup (Monkey Dust, Little Britain etc. etc.) slotting in Tuesday at 9pm.

Now you have a decent weekday prime-time (for the target audience) line-up...perhaps with "Destination Three" kicking in continuity at 10pm. They shouldn't be so reliant on the Eastenders repeat either- I feel this should move back to 11pm as a buffer between the programming for the night and the repeats.

I noticed the first episode of Farscape was cropped to 14:9 but then the second one was switched to 4:3 until the end of the credits when it bounced back.

The presenters are generally OK if a bit "new format exciteable". Couple too many of them though, it's a bit RI:SEy

Justin Lee Harvey is horrific though. sack him now

There y' are.
