Anyone else think the title sequence is very good ?
Absoutly love the show think its got some great humor.

Yes the title sequence is excellent. I noticed that it didn’t feature in full on the first (pilot) episode. May be it wasn’t produced until after the pilot was made and the series commissioned. Great idea using Desperate Housewives throughout history. Nice visual segues too!

I only saw a couple of trails and caught the first episode by chance. It made me laugh out loud so many times I was hooked.

Alot of US shows don't have a full title sequence for the pilot episode.

Agree this week's show was rather boring - not a patch on previous weeks at all. Hopefully it's a one-off glitch.

After a couple of weeks below par, last nights episode was possibly the best so far with alot of storylines reaching a critical stage.

Strange with the credits last night - C4 cut them off after a couple of seconds!

Yeah, I noticed that with the credits.

Last nights episode was bloody fantastic. But it seems that ITV1 got the better of Channel 4, and last night ratings for DH was it's worst in the whole series so far, falling below 4 million. I had to switch over to E4 to see more. I won't reveal anything but you must tune into next weeks episode, it is very, very good. Believe me.

EDIT: From MediaGuardian:

ITV1's more competitive Wednesday schedule pushed Desperate Housewives down below 4 million viewers for the first time in its seven weeks on air.

Last night's edition had to settle for 3.7 million viewers and a 21% audience share - still very good figures for Channel 4 at 10pm.

I dont see what the big deal is with Desperate Housewives, I watched a bit of it the other night and thought it was very average.

I am enjoying all the subterfuge running in the background, but I think they got rid of Carlos' Mother too soon. They could of kept her going getting closer to the truth about the affair.

Having now watched up to this week on my downloaded eps I have to say the show is fantastic. It's brilliantly acted and wonderfully observed. I recognise so many of the cahracters from real life.

Except perhaps the perfect clean-freak wife, cant say I have ever met a woman like her. I must say Teri Hatcher seems to have had acting lessons between this show and Superman. Laughing

Indeed, she's so much fabber in this. Bree reminds me of me actually, sans the religion.

Why am I picturing a tall guy mincing around in a pinny with a feather duster. No offence lol

I don't do pinnies martin. I prefer my static dusty things anyhow, not cheap feather ones.
