It was absolutely brilliant, I thought it was funny and dark, which I always love. It reminded me of Six Feet Under, and was totally different to Sex and the City. I will also be staying with it and can't wait until next week. I'm also glad that C4 secured the rights to the second series as any other channel would put it in a terrible timeslot. 10pm suits it perfectly. Brilliant!!!
I don't watch these sort of shows. But I watched the advert for it a few times. Is one of the main woman characters pumped full of plastic surgery!? She looks awful!
To be honest, i was only planning to watch it so that i could see what the set looked like on tv. They were filming it at Universal Studios in Hollywood while i was there although it was the second series they were filming. After about 20 mins i realised that i was purely just watching the program. It was brilliant.
It's a great show for channel 4 and did well in the ratings for them, I also watched it, and liked it. At first I thought that it would have been aimed at women, but even if it is, I've still got the urge to watch it.
I wasn't trushing to watch it on e4 though, as then I'd have two this week and would have to stay up until 11 next week to watch the next episode, unless I missed next weeks and then went back to Channel 4.
That's the only problem with this tactic. Now that the 500 000 have seen next weeks episode, won't the ratings be lower?
I ended up having to record Dead Man Weds aswell, which wasn't too bad either, and I'm sure there was something else on that I was going to watch!

Very good point. Also, this tactic still means you have to wait a week for the next episode, your just an episode ahead of C4.
It makes more sense than the scheduling of programmes like ER, which is screened on Thursday on E4 and then Monday on C4.
Although annoying for C4 viewers, E4 viewers get the most benefit when an entire series is screened first on E4. However, I guess the "First Look" strategy of airing the next episode immediatly after the C4 screening gives the show alot more promotion than any number of trailers.
This programme is just OK - I dont see what all the fuss is about really. It doesn't warrant the huge amount of pages it has taken up in the press over the last week or so!
I have enjoyed watching it but especially after tonight's (C4) episode I felt a bit unfulfilled and felt as if nothing really happened in the hour. It's just not exciting or fast paced enough to become a classic.
I'll stick with it but i'm getting more bored with it as the series progresses.
