Hey,
After the shocking designs (that's good shocking, not bad shocking) of the last ITV News-style design task... I thought I'd set a new one, less serious and a more fun sort of approach.
Here's the task, guidelines and design brief. (BTW, this is only for fun so don't go thinking that the show I'm about to say about is real 'cos it's not!)
Task
1. MTV are launching a new show titled 'Big Up MTV' which will be a Select MTV-style request show. Your task is to design an aston complete with the show's logo (designed by yourself) and title/artist of a video.
2. Because this task isn't like the previous ITV News one, it gives you a chance to use bright colours (oranges, purples, light blues).
3. The logo you design does not have to have the MTV logo in, you can design a completley different one if you wish.
4. Behind the aston, the screen can be a capture from any video that would be shown on MTV. (These can be copied and found from websites of artists online).
5. Remember, it's only for fun!
Looking forward to seeing some good designs, and if they are anything like the ones in the last task I'm sure you'll put mine down to shame...
