A lot of controversy has surrounded this show, both in the papers and magazines and they say the programme should not be screened cos everybody will go out and do it themselves
.
The article in the Daily Mail the other day was saying that people will only watch cos they will want to see if death really occurs. It is a pretty nasty thing to see on the television and I know everyone is blasting Channel 4 for airing the programme...but Channel 4 always leads the way with controversial subjects and has got away with it in the past...so thumbs up Channel 4 from me for being a bit different from all the other terrestrial television channels and also putting in on on Sunday night, where normally we are subjected to friendly friendly programmes like Heartbeat etc etc..
But what I wanted to know is:-
If Derren Brown does actually kill himself tomorrow night, what will Channel 4 do??? Will they just fade the programme to a Channel 4 logo and say something like "Well...ahem...that wasn't supposed to happen...." or what???
:
I will be interested to know! Any sensible ideas would be welcome!!!
